Constipation
Having a bowel movement less than 3 times a week defines constipation. The symptoms of constipation are variable and include feeling bloated, gas, abdominal discomfort, the need to strain and feeling of incomplete evacuation. Constipation is also often associated with hard or firm stool.
Fecal Incontinence
This condition results from the loss of normal control of the bowels (or rectum), leading to leakage of gas or stool (liquid or solid).
