Jami J. Barnard, M.D., received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, and her medical degree from the Texas Tech University Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, El Paso, Texas. She is a licensed OB/GYN who was twice awarded “Outstanding Teaching Resident” and has been a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society since 2012.
An active volunteer in the community, Dr. Barnard’s interests include educating women on preventative healthcare, providing care at various health fairs and clinics and instructing childbirth education classes. She is a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the author of multiple publications on a wide range of women’s health issues.
Dr. Barnard enjoys exploring her new home of San Antonio with her husband and daughter. Her hobbies include backpacking, traveling and spending time outdoors.
